Soccer Game Preview: Bossier vs. Huntington

The Bossier Bearkats will head out on the road to face off against the Huntington Raiders at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Huntington took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Bossier, who comes in off a win.

While Bossier's victory against Franklin Parish wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bearkats skirted past the Patriots 2-1. The win was familiar territory for Bossier, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Meanwhile, after soaring to six goals the game before, Huntington was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They lost 9-0 to Calvary Baptist Academy. The loss continues a trend for Huntington in their meetings with Calvary Baptist Academy: they've now lost eight in a row.

Huntington's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Bossier, they picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 4-11.

Bossier got the 'W' when the teams last played back in January of 2025 against Huntington by a conclusive 6-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bearkats since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
