Soccer Recap: Carle Place Gets the Win

Carle Place was not the first on the board on Monday, but they got there more often. They came out on top against the Evergreen Charter Bears by a score of 4-2. Considering Carle Place's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

They hit Evergreen Charter with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Nicholas Scaccia, Lucas Viegas, Cristiano Costa, and Evan Mehalakes.

Carle Place wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 2-2 draw against Oyster Bay on the 17th. Hopefully Evergreen Charter paid attention to the Frogs' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Frogs at 5:00 p.m. on October 7.
