Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Julissa Olague and Rylee Harris Lead Romeoville to Victory

There's no place like home for Romeoville, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They had just enough and edged the Thornwood Thunderbirds out 40-38. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 80-43 back in December of 2024.

Leading Romeoville to victory were Rylee Harris and Julissa Olague. Harris posted 16 points, while Olague had 13 points. That's the most points Olague has posted since back in December of 2024.

Romeoville's win bumped their record up to 8-21. As for Thornwood, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-26.

Romeoville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 77-27 loss against Marist on the 17th. Thornwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
