Softball Recap: Ravenswood Takes a Loss

Ravenswood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 5-1 to the St. Albans Red Dragons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Dragons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 back in March.

Ravenswood's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for St. Albans, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ravenswood will challenge Gilmer County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for St. Albans, they will take on Spring Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
