Preview: Richmond Blue Devils vs. Kettering Captains
The Richmond Blue Devils will head out on the road to face off against the Kettering Captains at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Richmond is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road dating back to last season.
Richmond's 22-3 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They were outmatched by Yale at home and fell 72-34.
Meanwhile, Kettering's game on Friday was all tied up 18-18 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell to Lakeland 40-35. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Kettering has scored all season.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Diego Rocha, who scored six points. Rocha is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Kevin Meredith was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with five rebounds.
Richmond now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Kettering, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
