Soccer Game Preview: Bishop Manogue vs. Galena

The Bishop Manogue Miners will take on the Galena Grizzlies at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams each escaped with close wins against their previous opponents.

Bishop Manogue is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They skirted past Damonte Ranch 3-2. The result kept Bishop Manogue happy, as they haven't lost a game since September 12th.

Meanwhile, Galena had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Huskies. Three seems to be a good number for Galena as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of goals in their previous game.

They hit Reno with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ava Bough, Blake Hartley, and Nyah Stallings.

Bishop Manogue's victory bumped their record up to 11-2-2. As for Galena, their win bumped their record up to 12-4-1.
