Baseball Recap: Grove City Christian Takes a Loss

Grove City Christian came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 11-1 to the Circleville Tigers.

Grove City Christian saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jadunn Harris, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2. Harris has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played.

Grove City Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Circleville, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Grove City Christian will venture away from home to take on Millersport at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. The Lakers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.2 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Circleville, they will host Fairfield Union at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
