Softball Recap: Sparta Spartans vs. Zeeland East Chix
Sparta's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top against the Zeeland East Chix by a score of 13-9. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Spartans considering their one-run performance the contest before.
Taliya Dauser looked comfortable as she struck out eight batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.
