Rahjon Chambers leads Legacy to victory over Durango

The Legacy Longhorns had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 70-59 win over Durango on Thursday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.

Rahjon Chambers went supernova for Legacy, scoring 28 points along with 6 assists and 5 rebounds. Jordyn Purdue was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 5 rebounds.

Legacy's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Durango, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

Legacy will head out on the road to face off against Faith Lutheran at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Durango, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mojave at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
