Volleyball Recap: Roncalli Beats New Palestine for Their 21st Straight Victory

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Roncalli walked away with it. They blew past the New Palestine Dragons 3-0 on Wednesday. The Royals are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 21 straight.

Roncalli's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Matthew Dial, who had nine digs and one block. Dial has been hot for a while, having also posted 13 or more assists the last 65 times he's played. Charlie Spearing also deserves some recognition as he served his first ace of the season.

Roncalli's victory bumped their record up to 24-3. As for New Palestine, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-8.

Coming up, Roncalli will take on Franklin Central at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. New Palestine does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
