Basketball Recap: Midlothian Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Midlothian's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They came out on top against the Clover Hill Cavaliers by a score of 64-56. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Trojans as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Midlothian's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Clover Hill, their defeat was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-6.

Midlothian will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Albemarle at 1:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025. After both having extra time off, Clover Hill and Prince George will shake off the cobwebs and square off against one another at 4:00 p.m. on January 2, 2025.
