Eastern Alamance is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing South Granville: they outscored them in every quarter. The Eagles took down the Vikings 78-63 two weeks ago. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Eastern Alamance found their leader in sophomore Mason Murphy, who dropped a double-double with 24 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Xavier Mcpherson, who went 7-for-12 on his way to 16 points.

Eastern Alamance smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as South Granville only pulled down nine.

Eastern Alamance's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for South Granville, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
