The Bishop Verot Vikings will head out on the road to face off against the Ida Baker Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Bishop Verot is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
Last Tuesday, Bishop Verot didn't have too much trouble with Gateway Charter on the road as they won 54-39.
Meanwhile, Ida Baker entered their tilt with LaBelle with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Ida Baker came out on top against LaBelle by a score of 52-41 on Tuesday.
Ida Baker's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Julianna Nieves, who scored 16 points along with 5 steals. The game was Nieves' third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexandra Reuss, who scored 16 points.
Bishop Verot's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Ida Baker, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.
Bishop Verot was able to grind out a solid win over Ida Baker when the teams last played back in November of 2022, winning 48-40. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Ida Baker's Nicole Bono, who scored 15 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals.
