Baseball Recap: St. Francis Prep Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for St. Francis Prep, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They walked away with an 8-4 win over the Moore Catholic Mavericks on Sunday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Terriers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

St. Francis Prep's win bumped their record up to 19-10. As for Moore Catholic, they dropped their record down to 19-11-1 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, St. Francis Prep will venture away from home to take on St. Joseph-by-the-Sea at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Vikings will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Terriers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Moore Catholic, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Regis at 6:00 p.m. on the 25th.
