Volleyball Recap: Caldwell Takes a Loss

Caldwell lost against Cunningham on September 9th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bluejays fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 2-1.

Despite the loss, Caldwell saw an underclassman step up: freshman Rory Strecansky had 15 digs and two aces. Those 15 digs set a new season-high mark for Strecansky.

Caldwell's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Cunningham, they moved to 9-6 with that win, which also ended their four-match losing streak.

Caldwell has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Argonia on the 27th. As for Cunningham, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Oxford on the 27th.
