Soccer Game Preview: Denton vs. Ryan

Denton is on a six-game streak of home losses, and Ryan a nine-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Monday. The Denton Broncos will be playing in front of their home fans against the Ryan Raiders at 6:30 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Denton managed to keep up with Argyle until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Denton lost 5-0 to Argyle. While losing is never fun, the Broncos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 475th, while the Eagles are ranked 28th).

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Ryan's offense. They came up short against Argyle on Friday, falling 5-0.

Ryan's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Denton, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-15-2.
