Football Recap: Strasburg Piles Up the Points Against Englewood + How To Watch

Strasburg had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 49-point drubbing they dealt Englewood on Friday. The Indians really took it to the Pirates for the full four quarters, racking up a 49-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won five contests by 27 points or more so far this season.

Strasburg's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brody Hopwood, who rushed for 103 yards and one TD on only six carries, and also threw for 224 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Those 103 rushing yards gave Hopwood a new career-high. Cade Hemphill also helped with two scores in total.

Strasburg didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Englewood to a completion percentage of just 30%. The Indians hasn't an opponent to post a completion percentage of 0.52 or higher in five consecutive games.

Strasburg pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.
