Baseball Game Preview: Fox Lane Foxes vs. Nyack Indians

For the second straight game, Fox Lane will face off against Nyack. The Foxes will face off against the Indians at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fox Lane's pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so Nyack's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Fox Lane took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Nyack 3-1.

Jackson Carroll spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits and racked up six Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Andrew Brauning was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That double marked the first that he has hit this season.
