Basketball Recap: Tse' Yi' Gai Takes a Loss

Tse' Yi' Gai was the 46-26 winner over Hozho Academy when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Tse' Yi' Gai Dine Warriors took a blow against the Hozho Academy Wolves on Thursday, falling 47-17. The Dine Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hozho Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ariel Garcia led the charge by putting up 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Khloe Todecheenie, who posted 14 points.

Tse' Yi' Gai's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Hozho Academy, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Tse' Yi' Gai will be taking part in a tournament against Walatowa Charter at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hozho Academy, they will head out on the road to take on Bosque at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
