Recap: Baptist Hill Bobcats vs. St. John's Islanders

The Baptist Hill Bobcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They took a 46-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of St. John. Baptist Hill has struggled against St. John's recently, as their match on Saturday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Several Bobcats players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Sharice Blufton, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Blufton has scored all season. Malaya Hill was another key contributor, scoring six points along with seven steals.

Baptist Hill's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for St. John's, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-6.

Baptist Hill will head out on the road to face off against Lowcountry Leadership at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lowcountry Leadership comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last seven games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for St. John's, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Military Magnet Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Military Magnet Academy has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 370 points over their last four contests.
