Recap: Tabernacle Christian Eagles vs. Indiana Christian Academy Whirlwinds
The Tabernacle Christian Eagles lost against the Indiana Christian Academy Whirlwinds back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Tabernacle Christian received a tough blow as they fell 67-52 to Indiana Christian Academy. Tabernacle Christian has struggled against Indiana Christian Academy recently, as their contest on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Sawyer Tipton was his usual excellent self, going 6 for 8 from beyond the arc en route to 24 points and 3 assists for Indiana Christian Academy. Tipton set a new season high mark in rebounds with seven. Another player making a difference was Seth Plew, who scored ten points along with five rebounds.
Tabernacle Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Indiana Christian Academy, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tabernacle Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Community Christian at 12:00 p.m. on December 28th. As for Indiana Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against Suburban Christian at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Suburban Christian is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 54.6 points per game.
