Preview: Jurupa Hills vs. California
After three games on the road, Jurupa Hills is heading back home. They will take on the California Condors at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Jurupa Hills' last seven matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Jurupa Hills walked away with it. They beat the RAMS by a goal, winning 3-2. The result kept Jurupa Hills happy, as they haven't lost a game since January 9th.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Marco Hernandez and
Jordan Pernillo, who scored all three of Jurupa Hills' goals. The pair have combined for a total of 13 so far this season.
Meanwhile, California kept a clean sheet against Hueneme on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Vikings and snuck past 1-0.
Jurupa Hills has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5-8 record this season. As for California, their win bumped their record up to 15-4-2.
