Baseball Recap: Peoria Comes Up Short

Peoria was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 29th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 15-0 to the Bloomington Purple Raiders. If the Lions were looking for revenge after losing 17-0 to the Purple Raiders when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Peoria's defeat dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Bloomington, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 17-6.

While Peoria had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
