Volleyball Recap: Bryan Takes a Loss

Bryan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Central Catholic Fighting Irish, falling 3-0. The Golden Bears were not able to make up for their loss to the Fighting Irish from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Bryan was not able to win a set, but it sure wasn't from a lack of trying: every set was decided by exactly two points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-23, 25-23.

Nora Kunsman paced Bryan's offense, picking up 12 kills. Kunsman got some help from Jozie Cordy and her 27 assists.

Bryan's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Central Catholic, they moved to 3-10 with that win, which also ended their six-match losing streak.

Bryan wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Van Wert on the 27th. As for Central Catholic, they are taking a road trip to face off against Mercy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
