It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lakeland Christian can now relate to. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (11-1), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. Their loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Lakeland Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Paityn Donalson, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Lakeland Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Foundation Academy, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 17-7.
