Lummi proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by three) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Tulalip Heritage Hawks 3-2. The victory continues a trend for the Blackhawks in their matchups with the Hawks: they've now won four in a row.

The win got Lummi back to even at 4-4. As for Tulalip Heritage, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lummi is set to take on their familiar foe Lopez at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Tulalip Heritage will challenge rival Evangel Classical at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
