Baseball Recap: North Pitt Comes Up Short

North Pitt lost against Ayden - Grifton last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Panthers came up short against the Chargers, falling 14-2. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North Pitt saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tylik Sherrod, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

North Pitt's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Ayden - Grifton, they pushed their record up to 11-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, North Pitt will head out to challenge Washington at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers are facing the Pam Pack at the right time seeing as the Pam Pack are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Ayden - Grifton, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-0 defeat against Corinth Holders on the 5th.
