Sedgwick suffers third straight loss at home

Recap: Sedgwick Cardinals vs. Kingman Eagles

On Friday, Sedgwick suffered a rough 46-23 defeat at the hands of Kingman. Sedgwick has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kingman got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Chase Webster out in front who scored nine points along with four steals. Those four steals set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of ZayDen Volden, who scored nine points along with five rebounds.

Sedgwick bumped their record down to 1-5 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Kingman, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sedgwick will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lyons on January 5, 2024. As for Kingman, they will head out on the road to face off against Pratt at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
