Volleyball Recap: Wasatch Wasps vs. Cedar Valley Aviators
Wasatch was the 3-0 winner over Cedar Valley when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Wasatch Wasps took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cedar Valley Aviators on Tuesday. The Wasps have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
While Wasatch ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 19-25, 25-18, 25-23.
Cedar Valley can attribute much of their success to Abigail Monahan, who had 15 digs. Monahan is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in the last five games she's played.
Wasatch's defeat dropped their record down to 13-15. As for Cedar Valley, their win bumped their record up to 3-18.
