Basketball Recap: Whittemore-Prescott Comes Up Short

Whittemore-Prescott was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 83-15 to the Heston Academy Patriots, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 83-15 last Wednesday.

Whittemore-Prescott's record now sits at 1-13. As for Heston Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

Whittemore-Prescott will face off against Oscoda at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Heston Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 57-18 win against Atlanta on the 31st.
