Recap: Beaver Dam Diamondback vs. Sandy Valley Sidewinders
The Beaver Dam Diamondback lost against the Sandy Valley Sidewinders back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Beaver Dam fell to Sandy Valley 36-30. Beaver Dam has not had much luck with Sandy Valley recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Sandy Valley was led to victory by Tage Colon and Damion Turner. Colon scored 14 points along with four steals, while Turner scored 14 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Christopher LeClair, who scored three points along with 13 rebounds and four steals.
Beaver Dam dropped their record down to 7-16 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Sandy Valley, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-2.
Beaver Dam will be playing at home against Mountain View Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in their respective states (Mountain View Christian is ranked 117th in Nevada, while Beaver Dam is ranked 102nd in Arizona). As for Sandy Valley, they will take on Beaver Dam at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
