Recap: Quinter Bulldogs vs. Golden Plains Bulldogs
Even though the Quinter Bulldogs have not done well against the Golden Plains Bulldogs recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Quinter took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 61-29 win over Golden Plains. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-12.
It was another big night for Bryn Gillespie, who scored 15 points along with six steals and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kelsey Selensky, who scored 12 points.
Quinter is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Golden Plains, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 8-3.
Quinter will look to defend their home court on Friday against Hoxie at 6:00 p.m. Hoxie will be coming into the contest with an undefeated record on the line. As for Golden Plains, they will head out on the road to challenge Cheylin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
