The Victoria Soto Wolves will head out on the road to face off against the Chicago Washington Patriots at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Victoria Soto is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.3 goals per game this season.

Victoria Soto is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They blew past Rickover Naval 3-0. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Victoria Soto's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 107th, while Rickover Naval are ranked 333rd).

Ariana Chavez and Emely Cruz scored all three of Victoria Soto's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 25 goals.

Meanwhile, Chicago Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 8-0 to Back of the Yards College Prep.

The victory made it two in a row for Victoria Soto and bumps their season record up to 8-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those two matches. As for Chicago Washington, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-9-1.

Victoria Soto took their victory against Chicago Washington in their previous meeting on April 3rd by a conclusive 5-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wolves since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
