Soccer Recap: Lincoln Southeast Falls Short Against Ranked Lincoln East

Lincoln Southeast faced Lincoln East in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Knights came up short against the Spartans, falling 6-0. Lincoln Southeast were not able to make up for their defeat to Lincoln East from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Lincoln Southeast's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-5. As for Lincoln East, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-2.

Lincoln Southeast wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 7-1 win against Lincoln North Star on the 21st. As for Lincoln East, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Kearney on the 21st.
