Preview: Royal Palm Beach Wildcats vs. Park Vista Cobras
The Royal Palm Beach Wildcats will look to defend their home court on Monday against the Park Vista Cobras at 7:00 p.m. Royal Palm Beach is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
Last Thursday, things could have been worse for Royal Palm Beach, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 43-29 loss to Dreyfoos School of the Arts.
Meanwhile, Park Vista strolled past West Boca Raton with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 48-34. The victory was just what Park Vista needed coming off of a 58-25 defeat in their prior contest.
Saniya Frazier was her usual excellent self, scoring 32 points along with six rebounds and five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Giulliana Mendonca was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six rebounds.
Royal Palm Beach has not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season. As for Park Vista, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2-1 record this season.
Royal Palm Beach was taken down by Park Vista 59-24 in their previous meeting back in January of 2023. Can Royal Palm Beach avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
