Basketball Recap: West Clermont Comes Up Short

West Clermont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 74-53 to the Turpin Spartans. The Wolves were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Spartans earlier this season, when they won 61-58.

West Clermont's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Turpin, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-9.

West Clermont will face off against Lebanon at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Lebanon has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Turpin, they will challenge Walnut Hills at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Turpin's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matches.
