St. Dominic put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Chaminade Flyers with a sharp 10-4 win. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

St. Dominic got a great performance from Luke Lang as he struck out eight batters over 5.1 innings while giving up four earned runs off five hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Dominic Muccia, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Joe Galeotafiore, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

St. Dominic was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

St. Dominic pushed their record up to 4-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Chaminade, they moved to 3-4 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

St. Dominic will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Flyers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
