Baseball Recap: Antonian Prep Comes Up Short

If Antonian Prep was feeling good fresh off their 6-0 takedown of St. Michael on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Apaches took a 10-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors on Friday. The Apaches were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Warriors earlier this season, when they won 6-0.

Cai Garza was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Allen Carreon, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Antonian Prep has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-8-1 record this season. As for St. Michael's, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-10-1.
