Soccer Recap: Bluffton Gets the Win

While Bluffton's victory against Hilton Head Christian Academy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bluffton Bobcats sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Hilton Head Christian Academy Eagles on Monday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bobcats also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2016.

Alexis Hernandez and Michael Chirinos scored both of Bluffton's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Bluffton's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Hilton Head Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-2.

When Bluffton and Hilton Head Christian Academy next hit the pitch, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Bluffton will take on Beaufort and their four-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Hilton Head Christian Academy will try to stop First Baptist School's four-game winning streak when they meet at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
