Baseball Game Preview: Lewis County Panthers vs. Jackson Christian Eagles

The Lewis County Panthers will head out on the road to square off against the Jackson Christian Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

It was a proper cat-fight when Lewis County challenged Lawrence County on Friday. Lewis County lost 11-1 to Lawrence County. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lewis County saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brycen McDonald, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Jackson Christian won against Tupelo on Tuesday with eight runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. Jackson Christian was the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over West Union. The game marked Jackson Christian's most dominant win of the season so far.

The victory made it two in a row for Jackson Christian and bumps their season record up to 3-2. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Lewis County, they now have a losing record of 3-4-1.
