Meanwhile, Gaston came tearing into Saturday's contest with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against Faith Bible Christian/Life Christian as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

Nestucca's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Gaston, their win bumped their record up to 10-8.
