For the second straight game, Lucas will face off against Mansfield Christian. The Cubs will welcome the Flames at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lucas is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7 runs per game this season.

On Monday, Lucas was able to grind out a solid win over Mansfield Christian, taking the game 6-3. The victory continues a trend for the Cubs in their matchups with the Flames: they've now won nine in a row.

Maddie Boyer was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits (and only one walk). Boyer was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Grace Green, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI. That RBI was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Destiny Foss, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Mansfield Christian is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6. As for Lucas, their win bumped their record up to 2-5.
