Volleyball Recap: Stone Mountain Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Stone Mountain was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Greater Atlanta Christian Spartans. The Pirates were not able to make up for their loss to the Spartans from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-2, 25-1.

Greater Atlanta Christian can attribute much of their success to Mayer Hall, who had five digs and four aces. That's the most aces Hall has posted since back in October of 2024.

Stone Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Greater Atlanta Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-10 record this season.

Stone Mountain will head out to face off against Chamblee at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Greater Atlanta Christian, they will be taking part in a tournament against Mountain View at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
