Crane Medical posted their biggest victory since December 4, 2023 on Saturday. They blew past Raby, posting a 74-44 win at home. Given Crane Medical's advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 203rd, while Raby is ranked 646th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Crane Medical's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was LaVelle Hardy, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hardy has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Dontea King, who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds.
Ogden International suffered their biggest loss since December 1, 2023 on Monday. They suffered a tough 71-47 defeat at the hands of Jones. Ogden International has struggled against Jones recently, as their match on Monday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Crane Medical is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. As for Ogden International, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 11-11.
Crane Medical and Ogden International were neck-and-neck in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, but Crane Medical came up empty-handed after a 68-67 loss.
