Marina posted their closest victory since April 5, 2024 on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over the Dana Hills Dolphins. The Vikings' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

TATE MORRIS tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out eight over five innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Marina's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was LEO GOODWIN, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. Another was AIDEN HESSE, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

Marina's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Dana Hills, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Marina wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 4-0 loss against San Clemente on the 26th. As for Dana Hills, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 5-3 defeat against Corona del Mar on the 28th.
