It's playoff time, and Christian Brothers had no trouble coming through when it counted. They enjoyed a cozy 51-32 victory over the Rodriguez Mustangs on Friday. The Falcons' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Christian Brothers was led to victory by Jay Cummings and Gunnar Marsh. Cummings gained 206 total yards and four touchdowns, while Marsh picked up 223 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Marsh's longest reception was for an incredible 78 yards.

Christian Brothers didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Nasser McGee and Marsh. Marsh is also on a roll when it comes to receiving touchdowns, as he's now hauled in two or more in each of the last three games he's played. Christian Brothers got some further help from Rhys Hembd: he made 16 total tackles.

Despite the loss, Rodriguez still got an impressive performance from Darian Charles, who rushed for 166 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 8.3 yards per carry.

Christian Brothers' win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-9. As for Rodriguez, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

As of now, neither Christian Brothers nor the Mustangs have any future games scheduled.
