Las Lomas has gone a perfect 4-0 against Mt. Diablo recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Knights will challenge the Red Devils at 4:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Las Lomas has four straight wins, Mt. Diablo has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Friday, Las Lomas got the win against Maria Carrillo by a conclusive 10-2.

Garrett Phillips looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Julian Milojkovic, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Eli Van Hoften also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Mt. Diablo's offense. They came up short against Berean Christian on Friday, falling 21-0.

Mt. Diablo saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Johnny Vazquez, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.

Las Lomas' victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Mt. Diablo, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-9.

Everything went Las Lomas' way against Mt. Diablo in their previous meeting back in May of 2025, as Las Lomas made off with a 21-2 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
