Basketball Recap: Lebanon Comes Up Short

Lebanon played a tough matchup on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by the Patoka Warriors 69-36. The loss continues a trend for the Greyhounds in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now lost four in a row.

Despite the loss, Lebanon still got an impressive performance from DeVaughn Ware, who posted 14 points.

Lebanon's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Patoka, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lebanon will face off against Dupo at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Patoka, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on North Clay/Clay City at 7:00 p.m. on February 8th.
