Raegen Stringer leads Tolono Unity to victory over Pontiac

Recap: Tolono Unity Rockets vs. Pontiac Indians
The Tolono Unity Rockets lost to the Pontiac Indians back in January of 2023, but the Tolono Unity Rockets didn't allow the Pontiac Indians the same satisfaction on Wednesday. Tolono Unity came out on top against Pontiac by a score of 40-33. The win made it back-to-back wins for Tolono Unity.
Raegen Stringer was her usual excellent self, scoring 19 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Tolono Unity's points. Addison Ray was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with six rebounds.
Tolono Unity has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season. As for Pontiac, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-12.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tolono Unity won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Illinois Valley Central at 7:00 p.m. on January 25th. Pontiac's road trip will continue as they head out to face Monticello at 7:00 p.m. on January 29th.
