Soccer Recap: Rampart Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Rampart was not quite Liberty's equal in the second half on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lancers. Rampart were not able to make up for their loss to Liberty from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Rampart and nudges their season record down to 7-5-1. As for Liberty, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-4.

Looking ahead, Rampart will be playing at home against Pueblo West at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Liberty, they will venture away from home to challenge Vista Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Vista Ridge's last five matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
